About

Michele Guarino has been an avid photographer for the past 26 years. In 2004 with a trip to the Flower Conservatory in Golden Gate Park (San Francisco, California), Michele began her interest in floral macro photography.

Michele has also dabbled in other areas of photography, such as the “architecture” photos noted on the website.

At the encouragement of friends and family, Michele started selling her photographs and displaying them at local art shows and galleries. And, thus, lead to the creation of this website.

Michele lived in Boulder, Colorado, for 21 years with her husband Peter.  They have since moved to Soquel, California, in June 2009, where the flowers ground year round and where there is better access to the ocean. 

Awards and Mentions

2007 National Juried Photography Show. Louisville Art Association, Colorado. “Vesta Blue” was among the only 100 pieces juried in and hung at this show. My Work was selected among 800 entries. Judged by Hal Gould.
